In this unusual sculpture titled Anxiety, sculptor Robert Laurent combined mahogany with a found object: a fragment of a metallic plane propeller.
The bust of a woman is carved from a thin, flattened piece of mahogany; her features are stylized and she holds a hand up to her mouth. The "hair" of the figure is formed by the plane propeller; the combination of metals in copper of the propeller contrast with the texture of the wood.
This sculpture is inscribed "Laurent" on the reverse.
