This Cigar Box is part of the Art Moderne Desk Set produced by Louis C. Tiffany Furnaces Inc. in the early 1920s; today the Desk Set is more commonly referred to by Tiffany collectors as the “Art Deco” Desk Set.
This example, in a dark brown patina, features a large hinged lid with inset enamel in variegated shades of green. Circular motifs at each corner have been filled with a complementary golden yellow enamel, contrasting with the patina of the bronze.
The interior of this rectangular Cigar Box is lined with cedar.
