The zoomorphic design of this combination inkwell and pen tray evokes an octopus, the inkwell with stylized relief scroll design decorating the scalloped foot, which supports the reticulated frame with hinged top.
Extending from the inkwell is an elongated pen tray with matching decoration at tip.
The bronze is finished in a rich brown/green patina. The inkwell has a replacement non-Tiffany gold iridescent glass liner.
