An early figural grouping of extremely small scale in glazed earthenware by the Wiener Werkstätte ceramic studio, depicting two figures, possibly figure skaters, one with their scarf blowing in the wind. The piece bears the firm's marks, "MADE IN AUSTRIA," and model number on the underside.
While this piece is not marked with Baudisch's monogram, the Wiener Werkstätte archive held by the The Museum of Applied Arts, Vienna has attributed the design to Gudrun Baudisch; the same form appears in a period photo, dating from 1928.
