These forged steel candlesticks by Albert Paley translate stellar death into metal: ribbons of steel stand in for the rings of cosmic light and space dust which spiral around a dying star, also known as a planetary nebula.
Each candlestick is formed by hand-forged and blackened steel, and features an original bronze bobeche.
These works are numbers 21 and 22 from the edition of 50.
