Dating from the 1920s, this footed bronze tazza produced by Louis C. Tiffany Furnaces features an acid-etched gold patina.
The flat rim of the shallow dish features a common decorative motif found in Tiffany metalwork dating from this period; curlicues of delicate wirework are interspersed with quaterfoil motifs, all accented by inset enamel. In this example, the bronze is contrasted with inset enamel in shades of variegated green and a ruby red.
