This Tiffany Favrile Glass Vase is a fine example of the popular blue iridescent glass produced by Tiffany Studios, a variation on the company’s widely produced gold iridescent glassware.
The vase, of classical footed form with elongated body and everted rim, is comprised entirely of richly pigmented sky-blue blown Tiffany Glass characterized by an allover silvery-blue iridescent surface. At the shoulder, the vase features two thickly applied scrolling handles, each with a small circular aperture at the center.
