Height: 13 ¾ inches (35 cm)
Diameter: 6 inches (15 cm)

A pair of Ginkgo Candlesticks in blackened steel by American craftsman and master metalsmith Albert Paley, from an edition of 100 pairs made for Peter Joseph gallery in 2001. These candlesticks are numbered 74 and 93 respectively. The Ginkgo design was originally introduced by Paley Studios in 1994.

Standing on a domed foot, several vertical ribbons of thin steel rise to form a spiral which supports a circular candle cup formed by radiating layers of ginkgo leaves in textured blackened steel resembling a flower blossom, with removable bronze bobeches nestled in the center.

A pair of Ginkgo Candlesticks was included in American Metal: The Art of Albert Paley, a retrospective exhibition held at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in 2014.
